About the Opportunity

Sammi Renae is seeking a talented video editor to help shape her YouTube and livestream content into compelling, high-quality videos. This is a remote, project-based role with the possibility of becoming a long-term collaboration for the right person.

The content covers a mix of IRL streams, lifestyle vlogs, outings, and personality-led entertainment. Your role will be to sift through raw footage, identify the most entertaining and meaningful moments, and transform them into engaging long-form videos and vertical Shorts that feel true to Sammi’s voice.

Compensation ranges from $250 to $350 for each full YouTube edit, depending on the amount of footage and the complexity of the project. A set of three Shorts is paid separately at an additional $175. Final scope, turnaround expectations, and revision terms will be confirmed before each assignment.

What We’re Looking For

We want an editor who understands pacing, audience retention, and the rhythm of entertaining storytelling. You should be able to build a strong intro, cut out slow or repetitive sections, and craft edits that feel smooth, natural, and engaging from start to finish.

Because much of the footage may come from full stream recordings, you should feel confident selecting standout moments on your own, even without detailed timestamps. Creativity, initiative, and strong communication are essential, along with the ability to consistently deliver work on time.

Prior experience editing IRL, streamer, vlog, lifestyle, or similar personality-driven content is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• A portfolio featuring relevant YouTube edits and short-form content.
• Proven ability in pacing, storytelling, audio cleanup, and basic color correction.
• Experience creating vertical Shorts with effective hooks, accurate captions, and strong visual framing.
• Good editorial judgment when adding music, sound effects, graphics, and meme-style elements.
• Use of licensed or otherwise properly cleared music and third-party assets.
• Strong English communication skills and openness to feedback.
• Reliable editing tools and the capacity to work with large video files.
