Are you passionate about transforming complex scientific ideas into engaging video content? We are looking for a talented YouTube Producer to join our dynamic team at What If. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of content creation, shaping the future of our popular series by developing compelling episodes that capture the imagination and curiosity of our audience.

As a creative producer, you will guide the entire production process. From conceptualizing and pitching innovative ideas to overseeing video production and analyzing performance metrics post-launch, your role is pivotal. Your deep understanding of YouTube as a platform, coupled with your ability to balance creativity with data-driven decisions, makes you an essential part of our team.

You'll be the linchpin of our production efforts, managing everything from pre-production brainstorming and storyboarding to post-production editing and refinement. Your ability to find intriguing stories, frame them effectively, and utilize AI tools to enhance production will be crucial to our success.

Location & Work Environment: This is a hybrid position based in Toronto, requiring 2-3 days a week in our studio. Only candidates residing in Ontario, Canada, are eligible to apply.

• Storytelling Expert: Crafting long-form narratives is your forte, with a track record of creating engaging episodes for successful channels.
• Data-Driven Strategist: You leverage data insights to understand audience preferences and refine content strategies for maximum impact.
• Collaborative Team Member: Working well with production teams in fast-paced environments, you excel at setting expectations and fostering a collaborative atmosphere.
• AI Enthusiast: Familiar with AI tools, you efficiently integrate them into your workflow for tasks like ideation, research, and graphics creation.
• Proficient in Adobe Suite: Knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the Showrunner and production team to deliver high-quality YouTube episodes.
• Lead all phases of video production, from ideation and scripting to shooting, editing, and publishing.
• Address creative and technical challenges with innovative solutions.
