Shawn Chidiac is looking for a creative and detail-driven video editor to help craft comedy sketches and skit-driven content with the timing, rhythm, and energy that make jokes land. This role is ideal for someone who understands how to turn raw footage into polished, highly watchable episodes that feel sharp, entertaining, and built for repeat viewing.

You’ll be editing sketch content with a strong focus on comedic pacing, knowing when to hold a reaction, trim a pause, or let a punchline breathe. The right candidate will also know how to elevate videos for YouTube with compelling openings, dynamic graphics, sound design, music choices, and captions that support the humor and keep viewers engaged from start to finish.

In addition to sketch editing, you’ll work with multi-camera game show and episodic footage, shaping it into tight, energetic edits that maintain momentum and stay consistent from one episode to the next. You should also be comfortable repurposing long-form content into short-form pieces for platforms like Shorts, Reels, and TikTok, while preserving the tone and impact of the original material.

We’re looking for someone with a strong portfolio of comedy or YouTube edits, as demonstrated work will matter more than a traditional resume. You should be confident in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, with After Effects experience considered a strong advantage. Just as important, you’ll need a strong instinct for what makes something funny, an understanding of YouTube retention, and the ability to work quickly and reliably on a consistent publishing schedule.

This is a hybrid role for a creative editor who can bring both speed and taste to the table, helping shape content that feels polished, original, and built for audience retention.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of editing experience
• Strong portfolio of comedy, skit, or YouTube edits
• Proficiency in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve
• After Effects experience is a plus
• Solid understanding of YouTube performance and audience retention
• Excellent sense of comedic timing and storytelling
• Ability to deliver consistently on schedule
• English proficiency required
