TrueGawd is seeking a creative and highly observant YouTube Channel Strategist to help shape the future of our reaction and short-form content. In this role, you’ll uncover compelling video opportunities, spot emerging trends early, and build a steady pipeline of ideas that connect with anime, animation, gaming, meme, and internet culture audiences.
You’ll be responsible for identifying topics, creators, formats, and viral moments that can be turned into engaging content for reaction-driven channels. We’re looking for someone who can think beyond what’s already circulating online and bring original, audience-focused concepts that have strong potential to perform.
The ideal candidate has a strong pulse on YouTube and broader online culture, with a clear understanding of what captures attention and drives clicks. You should be comfortable researching content patterns, analyzing performance signals, and translating those insights into practical next-step ideas for the channel.
We value someone who can balance trend awareness with creative judgment—someone who knows when to lean into what’s popular and when to propose something fresh, timely, and aligned with the channel’s voice. Experience with reaction, commentary, Shorts, or Reels-style content is especially valuable.
• Research trending topics, creators, videos, and formats with strong audience potential
• Develop original, clickable content ideas tailored to reaction and short-form formats
• Identify evergreen themes that can be revisited and expanded over time
• Review channel performance and use insights to guide future content planning
• Collaborate on title, thumbnail, and packaging ideas that improve click-through rate
• Stay current on anime, gaming, memes, viral moments, and broader internet culture
• Communicate ideas clearly and consistently while meeting deadlines
• 3+ years of experience in content strategy, YouTube research, or a related creative role
• Strong knowledge of YouTube audience behavior and content trends
• Ability to generate high-quality ideas consistently and independently
• Familiarity with reaction/commentary channels and short-form video ecosystems
• Excellent written communication and dependable follow-through
• English fluency required
