About the Opportunity

We’re looking for a talented thumbnail designer to help shape the visual identity of Trey Colley’s YouTube content. The channel blends uplifting lifestyle storytelling, behind-the-scenes moments, humor, and educational insight, all wrapped in a warm, polished, dream-life aesthetic. Your job will be to create thumbnails that capture that energy instantly and make viewers want to click.

What You’ll Do

You’ll turn vlog titles and raw video context into strong, scroll-stopping thumbnails that feel cinematic, authentic, and aligned with the channel’s brand. We need someone who can quickly understand the story behind each video and translate it into a compelling image that connects with the right audience.

The ideal designer will know how to balance clarity, emotion, and curiosity while maintaining a consistent visual style. This is not just about making something pretty — it’s about helping each upload perform better by improving click-through appeal and making the content feel unmissable.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking an experienced thumbnail designer with a strong eye for composition, pacing, and audience psychology. You should be comfortable working in a vlog-focused, cinematic style and have a solid understanding of what makes a YouTube thumbnail effective. Experience designing for creator-led content is a strong plus.

You’ll be a great fit if you can take minimal direction, think strategically, and consistently deliver thumbnails that elevate the content and support channel growth.

Compensation and Growth

This role begins with a base rate and includes performance-based bonus opportunities when thumbnails outperform previous uploads. As the channel grows, there is potential for this to become a long-term, ongoing partnership.

We publish vlogs regularly, ideally once per week, which adds up to roughly 54 videos per year. If you’re looking for a consistent remote opportunity with room to make a measurable impact, we’d love to hear from you.
