Your Role

We are seeking a talented Video Shorts Editor to collaborate with our team on an exciting venture—our Video Shorts initiative. This project aims to distill our comprehensive research and insights into captivating 1-3 minute vertical videos, optimized for social media platforms like YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Instagram. As an editor, you will transform provided scripts and raw footage into visually engaging narratives that resonate with a diverse audience.

Your Responsibilities

• Craft and edit concise and engaging videos from pre-scripted content.
• Source and integrate a variety of visuals, including b-roll, maps, and archival materials, using provided resources and subscriptions.
• Incorporate light motion graphics and create dynamic text animations and subtitles to enhance storytelling.
• Highlight and animate key points from article PDFs to enrich the viewer's experience.

What We’re Looking For

• Demonstrated expertise in editing short-form content for social media platforms, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Proficiency in creating light motion graphics and text animations.
• Strong research skills to source meaningful visuals that complement our scripted content.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to feedback efficiently.
