About The Role

TheGoodHype is seeking a talented Video Editor to help shape long-form YouTube content that keeps audiences entertained from start to finish. This remote role is ideal for someone who enjoys turning raw clips into polished, high-energy videos with personality, rhythm, and heart.

Our content centers around our dogs and includes challenges, reactions, skits, story-driven moments, and other fun formats. We’re looking for an editor who can bring these ideas to life with creativity, strong pacing, and a clear sense of what keeps viewers watching.

The right person will know how to transform unedited footage into an engaging final product that feels natural, funny, and enjoyable to watch. You should be comfortable finding the strongest moments in a pile of footage and weaving them into a cohesive narrative that reflects the tone of our brand.

We value someone who pays attention to detail, understands comedic timing, and can create videos that feel polished without losing their authentic charm. If the collaboration is a great fit, we’d love to build a long-term working relationship.

Key Responsibilities

• Review raw footage and select the most compelling moments.
• Shape clips into a clear, entertaining story arc.
• Refine pacing to improve humor, flow, and audience retention.
• Enhance videos with music, sound effects, graphics, and other supporting elements as needed.
• Deliver finished long-form videos ready for YouTube publishing.

Ideal Skills

Experience editing content in styles such as ASMR, challenges, faceless videos, reactions, skits, storytime, or vlogs is a strong plus. Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who can match the playful spirit of our content while maintaining a clean and professional final result.
