About the Role

Mojo is looking for a Video Editor who can turn raw ideas into entertaining, high-energy content that keeps viewers watching. This is a remote opportunity for someone who enjoys comedy-driven storytelling, thrives in a creative environment, and can bring personality to every cut.

You’ll be editing a mix of formats, including skits, storytime videos, documentary-style pieces, and shorts/reels. The ideal editor can move comfortably between styles, adapt quickly to new concepts, and help shape content that feels polished, engaging, and original.

This role is more than just assembling footage. We want someone who can contribute creatively, spot opportunities for stronger jokes or smoother pacing, and collaborate on building content that stands out.

What You’ll Do

As part of the editing team, you’ll help transform recorded material into compelling videos that match the tone and energy of the channel. Your work may include tightening story flow, enhancing comedic moments, adding motion, captions, sound design, and visual effects, and helping each video feel dynamic from beginning to end.

You’ll also work with content that may include direct-to-camera delivery, experimental ideas, and a variety of formats. Flexibility and creativity are key, as the style can shift from one project to the next.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking an editor with strong comedic instincts, solid technical skills, and a collaborative mindset. You should be comfortable working independently while also contributing ideas that improve the final product.

The right person will be able to enhance humor through editing choices, understand timing and rhythm, and bring fresh suggestions to the table. A willingness to experiment and adapt is important, especially in a content environment that values originality.

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience editing YouTube content and short-form social videos
• Strong sense of comedic timing and visual storytelling
• Ability to add captions, sound effects, music, and on-screen elements
• Experience with green screen work and basic visual effects
• Proficiency in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar editing software
• Clear communication and a collaborative working style
• Ability to manage deadlines and work independently in a remote setting

Compensation

Salary range: 2400 - 2880
