Video Editor for Tech Explainer YouTube Videos

We’re building a brand-new YouTube channel focused on practical tutorials in tech and marketing, and we’re looking for a skilled editor to help shape the content from the ground up. This is an exciting opportunity to grow with a channel that is just getting started and contribute to videos that are clear, engaging, and easy to follow.

As the editor, you’ll take raw footage and transform it into polished long-form videos that hold attention and feel professional. You’ll work from provided direction and creative guidance, while bringing your editing judgment to improve pacing, clarity, and viewer retention.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll edit one long-form video each week, starting immediately and continuing through January. Your work will primarily involve talking-head footage and screen recordings, which you’ll refine into smooth, watchable content. This may include trimming, rearranging, adding captions, inserting zooms, using b-roll where helpful, and applying simple motion graphics to support the message.

What we’re looking for

We’re seeking someone with a solid foundation in video editing who has experience working on YouTube content, especially tutorials, walkthroughs, or educational videos. A strong sense of pacing and audience engagement is important, along with the ability to meet weekly deadlines consistently. While advanced expertise is not required, reliability and good editing instincts are essential.

Candidates based in Pakistan are especially encouraged to apply, though the role is fully remote and open to qualified editors who can work in English and communicate clearly.
