Video Editor for Spin-Off Gaming Channel

Join ZoeTube as we build a new gaming channel from the ground up, with a focus on Roblox and high-energy, personality-driven content. We’re looking for a talented editor who can help turn raw gameplay and commentary into polished, entertaining videos that keep viewers watching from start to finish.

This is an ongoing freelance opportunity with room to grow. You’ll collaborate closely with our Senior Editor and contribute to a channel designed for a female-leaning audience, so an eye for style, pacing, and presentation is important.

What You’ll Be Working On

Each month, you’ll edit around four videos, typically landing in the 10–15 minute range. Source footage will usually be under one hour per project, and the expected turnaround time is one to two weeks. We provide one revision round, and the goal is to build a long-term working relationship with someone who can quickly adapt to our workflow.

The role is centered on storytelling and viewer engagement. Your edits should transform raw footage into a clear, energetic narrative by trimming slow moments, restructuring scenes when needed, and making sure every video feels cohesive and fun to watch.

We’re not just looking for clean cuts. We want an editor who can enhance the entertainment value through motion graphics, text, sound design, music, meme-style inserts, zooms, visual punchlines, and other creative touches that elevate the final product.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate understands YouTube pacing, comedic timing, audience retention, and how to edit gaming content in a way that feels dynamic and engaging. Experience with gameplay, reaction, or personality-led videos is especially valuable.

You should feel comfortable making smart creative choices on your own and improving moments that feel unclear, flat, or underdeveloped in the raw footage. We’re looking for someone who brings ideas to the edit, not just technical execution.

Strong communication, reliability, and a willingness to take feedback are essential. Since the content relies heavily on conversational humor and context, excellent English fluency is required. Spanish is a plus, but not necessary.

Projects will be shared in Premiere Pro, and we expect editors to be comfortable working within that environment.
