Christian Chanel is looking for a talented video editor who can transform raw, unscripted footage into engaging YouTube videos with a refined lifestyle aesthetic. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys shaping real moments into compelling stories that feel polished, dynamic, and visually memorable.

Projects will feature a mix of travel adventures, beauty treatments, shopping trips, behind-the-scenes moments, and everyday lifestyle content. The ideal editor will know how to balance energetic pacing with natural storytelling, using music, sound design, text, graphics, cutaways, and creative effects to elevate each video without losing authenticity.

We’re especially interested in someone who understands how to enhance a feminine, cinematic style through thoughtful editing choices, including comedic timing, smooth transitions, visual variety, and well-placed montages. At the same time, the editor should know when to allow quiet, genuine moments to stand on their own.

Some footage may need extra context to help the story flow naturally. In those cases, the editor should be able to identify what is missing, suggest voiceover needs, and provide clear prompts or talking points that can be recorded and integrated seamlessly into the final cut.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience editing long-form lifestyle, beauty, or travel videos for YouTube
• Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, humor, and visual rhythm
• Ability to choose fitting royalty-free music and create immersive sound design
• Confidence using text, graphics, effects, inserts, and supporting visuals to enhance the narrative
• Experience with color correction and color grading
• Comfort working with large amounts of 4K footage and keeping projects organized
• Ability to recognize when additional voiceover or context is needed
• Preferred editing tools: Final Cut Pro, though Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve are also welcome
• Dependable communication and consistent turnaround times
• Strong file organization and clean project handoff practices
