We are seeking a skilled YouTube editor to join our team at Live Like the Locals, a premium channel that delves into the heart of travel, food, and culture. Our inspiration stems from the likes of Anthony Bourdain, Chef’s Table, and Somebody Feed Phil, emphasizing storytelling that’s rich in atmosphere, emotion, and cinematic beauty.

In this role, you will be at the forefront of creating long-form episodes that highlight local chefs, immersive travel experiences, and genuine cultural narratives. Your ability to capture the essence of diverse communities from around the world will be crucial, as we strive to tell stories that resonate on a global scale. Additionally, crafting shorts for each episode will be an exciting aspect of your work.

We are looking for a candidate who thrives in a collaborative environment and possesses a strong instinct for music, pacing, and emotional storytelling. Your experience in editing documentary-style content, along with your understanding of YouTube’s unique pacing and audience engagement strategies, will set you apart. An appreciation for authentic culture and food storytelling, coupled with some travel experience and language skills, will be highly valued.
