Weโre looking for a skilled editor to support a creator-focused business thatโs ready to hand off a long-standing in-house editing workload. This is a hands-on role for someone who understands subtle, high-quality storytelling and can deliver work that feels seamless rather than overproduced.
Our ideal candidate has a sharp editorial eye, strong instincts for timing and pacing, and a genuine appreciation for clean, natural content. If you have experience editing creator-led videos or youโre highly motivated to grow in that space, weโd love to hear from you.
This role is not a fit for editors who rely on flashy effects, heavy motion graphics, excessive pop-ups, or highly stylized jump-cut content. Instead, weโre seeking someone who can make the edit feel effortless, with thoughtful cuts, smooth audio balancing, and a strong sense of what should stay on the timeline and what should be removed.
The best reference point is understated, cinematic creator content where the editing supports the story without drawing attention to itself. A refined sense of taste matters just as much as technical ability.
In addition to video, approximately 30% of the work will involve photo selection, editing, and retouching. Weโre looking for someone who can keep images natural, polished, and consistent with a premium creator brand. If you already have photo experience, thatโs a plus; if not, you should be eager to learn and develop those skills quickly.
This position will involve close collaboration with the client and a fair amount of revision work as you learn their preferences and creative standards. Strong communication, patience, focus, and consistency are essential.
You should be comfortable working across the following tools: Final Cut Pro or Premiere Pro, CapCut, Evoto for photo and video retouching, Lightroom, and Aftershoot.
We value applicants who pay attention to instructions. To be considered, keep your message brief, share direct links to examples of editing work that match this style, and include one creative director or content creator you currently admire. Please do not send a broad portfolio link.
This is a full-time remote opportunity with a starting rate of $10 per hour, with room for growth based on performance and improvement. The expected schedule is 8 hours per day, 5 days per week, aligned with Pacific Time.
If youโre someone with strong taste, solid editing fundamentals, and the drive to grow into a trusted creative partner, weโd be excited to review your application.
Please send a short application message limited to two sentences, along with direct links to relevant examples of your work in this style. Also include the name and link of one creative director or content creator you currently admire.
