Jdog is seeking a talented thumbnail and avatar artist to create a memorable character for a new YouTube channel. The first project is a custom cartoon-style avatar of a black-and-white Shiba Inu with a playful expression and its tongue out, framed as a close-up face shot. The goal is to capture a fun, energetic personality that stands out instantly on screen.

We are looking for artwork inspired by bold, expressive cartoon thumbnail styles commonly seen in high-performing comedy and commentary channels. The design should feel vibrant, polished, and engaging while staying true to the requested Shiba Inu concept. No background is needed for this initial piece — the focus is on the character avatar itself.

This channel will feature educational commentary content centered around health and medical topics, so we want a visual identity that feels both entertaining and recognizable. If this first design is a strong fit, there may be ongoing opportunities for future thumbnails in the same style.

The ideal candidate has experience creating clean, eye-catching digital art and is comfortable working in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Familiarity with other creative tools is welcome as well, but Illustrator is especially preferred. We are looking for someone who can take direction well, bring originality to the concept, and deliver a finished piece that feels lively and professional.
