There's An AI For That is building one of the most useful destinations for discovering and organizing AI tools, and we're looking for a Thumbnail Designer who can help our YouTube content stand out instantly.

In this role, you'll transform ideas, topics, and rough creative directions into compelling thumbnails that grab attention, communicate the message fast, and encourage viewers to click. You'll work closely with the team to develop fresh visual concepts, test different approaches, and bring a strong sense of storytelling to every design.

This is a full-time, on-site opportunity based in Bucharest, at our office on Calea Victoriei. We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-moving startup environment, enjoys creative freedom, and is excited to use both Photoshop and AI-powered tools to produce polished, engaging visuals.

What you'll do

You'll design thumbnails for our YouTube channel, explore multiple creative directions for each brief, and refine visuals based on feedback and performance goals. The role calls for a designer who can move quickly without sacrificing quality, and who understands how to create bold, readable, high-contrast imagery that performs well in a crowded feed.

What we're looking for

We're seeking a creative professional with at least 1+ years of experience in thumbnail design, graphic design, or a related visual role. A strong portfolio is essential, and advanced Photoshop skills are expected, including compositing, retouching, and image manipulation.

The ideal candidate has a sharp eye for composition, color, contrast, lighting, and typography, and can turn simple concepts into strong visual ideas quickly. You should be comfortable experimenting with different styles, adapting to feedback, and managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Curiosity about YouTube trends, visual storytelling, and AI tools is a big plus.

Additional qualifications

Good English skills are important for understanding briefs and researching content. Experience with AI image generation or editing tools is highly valued, though willingness to learn quickly is also welcome. Familiarity with YouTube performance strategies, such as CTR and A/B testing, is a plus, as are basic motion graphics or video editing skills.
