Join Our Team as a Thumbnail Designer!

Are you passionate about creating visually stunning graphics that capture attention in an instant? We're seeking a talented Thumbnail Designer to join our dynamic team and elevate the visual appeal of our real estate investing YouTube channel. In this role, you'll be responsible for designing eye-catching thumbnails that adhere to our proven visual style, leveraging bold typography and high-contrast elements to ensure maximum impact.

Your Role:

• Craft exceptional YouTube thumbnails that maintain our channel's cohesive aesthetic, utilizing bold text and striking contrast.
• Develop multiple concept options for each video to facilitate A/B testing, ensuring we always present the most engaging visuals.
• Create and maintain reusable thumbnail templates to streamline our design process while upholding brand consistency.
• Enhance images through expert retouching, including lighting adjustments, color grading, and background modifications.
• Ensure timely delivery of finalized thumbnails, organizing files for efficient reuse and collaboration.

The Ideal Candidate:

We're looking for someone with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of composition, hierarchy, and contrast, particularly with a mobile-first mindset. You should be able to create bold yet uncluttered designs that align with our established style while infusing fresh ideas. A solid grasp of marketing principles is essential, as is the ability to communicate effectively, iterate quickly based on feedback, and produce designs that convey a single, clear message.

Style Expectations:

• Utilize large, readable text (2–6 words) to communicate succinctly.
• Apply high-contrast color schemes, often incorporating black, white, and vivid accent colors like yellow.
• Ensure a clear focus on the main subject with sharp cutouts and expressive elements.
• Use simple, intentional props or icons to enhance, not clutter, the design.

Requirements:

• A portfolio showcasing previous YouTube thumbnail designs, particularly in business, real estate, or finance sectors.
• Proficiency in Photoshop or equivalent tools (Photopea or Affinity Photo is acceptable).
• Ability to deliver thumbnails in YouTube's specified dimensions (1280 × 720 px) and formats (JPG/PNG) with speed and reliability.
• Experience interpreting video titles and outlines to visually enhance concepts.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in designing content related to real estate investing or business education.
• Familiarity with A/B testing and iterative design improvements.
• Basic skills in motion graphics or short-form design are a plus, but not mandatory.
