Your Role:

As a Thumbnail Designer, you will be instrumental in creating striking and effective YouTube thumbnails that enhance click-through rates and engage viewers across various educational and brand-focused channels. Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing visually compelling thumbnails that optimize viewer engagement and align with channel strategies.
• Collaborating closely with Creative Directors to interpret briefs and mood boards into unique visual concepts.
• Implementing feedback efficiently to refine designs while maintaining high standards, even under tight deadlines.
• Proactively communicating with project managers to ensure alignment on project timelines and deliverables.
• Organizing project files and maintaining a comprehensive version history to support seamless workflow and collaboration.

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum of three years' experience in designing high-performing YouTube thumbnails, particularly for channels with substantial audiences.
• In-depth understanding of YouTube platform dynamics, including algorithm factors and visual trends.
• Expert proficiency in design software such as Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Ability to thrive in a high-output, fast-paced creative environment with iterative feedback processes.
• Excellent communication skills for articulating design choices and working cross-functionally.
• Availability to work within U.S. time zones.
