Position Overview

BenAI is seeking a dynamic and innovative Thumbnail Designer to join our remote team on a contract basis. You will play a crucial role in enhancing our YouTube presence by designing eye-catching thumbnails that captivate a B2B audience interested in AI and automation.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will be at the forefront of our digital strategy. You will:

• Conduct thorough research on successful YouTube videos, analyzing why their thumbnails attract viewers.
• Conceptualize and design engaging thumbnail variations using frameworks such as cognitive dissonance, curiosity gaps, and pattern interrupts to boost our video's click-through rate (CTR).
• Create 2-3 thumbnail variations per video to test and optimize performance.
• Monitor and analyze performance data to refine designs for maximum impact.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in designing YouTube thumbnails, demonstrated through a robust portfolio.
• Expert knowledge of thumbnail psychology and strategic frameworks.
• Exceptional research skills, with the ability to systematically identify and assess successful content.
• Proficiency in design software such as Photoshop, Figma, or Canva.
• Familiarity with B2B audiences, with an understanding of professional content beyond entertainment.

Desirable Qualifications

• Insight into the AI and automation sectors.
• Experience with AI-driven design tools like Midjourney or Nano Banana.
• A keen eye for maintaining brand consistency across all visual outputs.
