
Green Light Views is looking for a talented remote Sports Video Editor who can transform raw basketball footage into dynamic, polished content that captures attention and keeps viewers engaged. This role focuses on creating standout edits for platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and other digital channels, with an emphasis on both short-form and long-form storytelling.
As part of the creative team, you’ll help shape compelling basketball content that reflects the pace, excitement, and culture of the sport. From highlight reels and interview edits to social clips and full-length videos, you’ll be responsible for bringing footage to life with strong pacing, clean visuals, and engaging audio-visual enhancements.
The ideal candidate is a self-driven editor with a sharp eye for detail, a strong sense of storytelling, and a genuine understanding of basketball content and audience expectations. You should be comfortable working independently, taking direction when needed, and delivering consistent results on deadline in a fast-moving remote environment.
What You’ll Bring:
• Proven experience editing both short-form and long-form video content
• Solid knowledge of basketball culture, highlights, and sports media trends
• Ability to build engaging edits for reels, interviews, highlight packages, and YouTube content
• Strong skills in adding captions, music, transitions, graphics, and sound design elements
• Experience organizing raw footage into polished, compelling final cuts
• A dependable workflow with quick turnaround times and strong attention to detail
• Your own editing setup, including reliable internet access and equipment
• Proficiency with industry-standard tools such as Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar software
• A portfolio or samples that demonstrate your previous video editing work
• Comfort working remotely and collaborating in a digital production environment
