Good News is seeking a talented and dependable Shorts Editor to join our remote team and help bring inspiring stories to life. Our channel focuses on positive, documentary-style content from around the world, and we’re looking for someone who can transform raw material into polished, attention-grabbing short-form videos.

This is a long-term opportunity for an editor who enjoys fast-paced creative work and takes pride in delivering high-quality results on schedule. Each project typically comes with a turnaround of about one week, so strong organization and consistent communication are essential.

We’re a full-time production team with more than a decade of YouTube experience, and we value collaboration, creativity, and reliability. As editors ourselves, we understand the craft and are always ready to support our team members with feedback, guidance, and creative direction. If you enjoy exchanging ideas and improving content through smart editing choices, you’ll fit right in.

We’re especially interested in candidates with advanced editing experience and a strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and GeoLayers 3. The ideal editor is passionate about storytelling, comfortable working independently, and able to stay on top of deadlines while keeping the team informed.

What we’re looking for:

• 3+ years of professional editing experience

• Expert-level Premiere Pro skills

• Strong After Effects knowledge, including GeoLayers 3

• Clear and proactive communication

• A reliable, detail-oriented approach to deadlines

• Experience with documentary, motion graphics, Shorts/Reels, and talking-head content
