About the Role

We are seeking a talented Scriptwriter to join our team on a contract basis. This remote position involves crafting compelling, audience-focused YouTube scripts that captivate viewers from the first hook to the final call-to-action. You will work closely with our Creative Director, producers, and editors to transform ideas into stories that resonate and retain audience attention.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Developing scripts for both long-form (7-10 minutes) and short-form (30-60 seconds) content suitable for YouTube and other social media platforms.
• Translating the expertise of our clients into authentic on-camera narratives.
• Utilizing storytelling techniques such as strong hooks and cliff-hangers to maintain viewer interest.
• Conducting research on trending topics and competitor strategies to generate fresh and engaging content ideas.
• Adapting your writing style to match various brand voices, whether educational, conversational, or dynamic.
• Collaborating through ClickUp, Slack, and Google Docs to ensure timely feedback and revisions.

We’re Looking For

• 1–3 years of experience in writing scripts for YouTube or social media content, with a portfolio showcasing your work.
• A strong grasp of storytelling, copywriting, and creating persuasive hooks.
• A willingness to learn or an existing skill in crafting content that maximizes viewer retention within the first 15 seconds.
• Exceptional English language proficiency, with a focus on grammar, pacing, and conversational tone.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Bonus: Knowledge of marketing, business education, or health and wellness content is advantageous.

Compensation & Terms

• Earn $75 – $100 USD per long-form script (7-10 minutes), with up to 1–2 revisions included.
• Receive $50-$100 USD per batch of 10 short-form scripts (under 1 minute), also including 1–2 revisions.
• This is a remote, worldwide 1099-contractor role with flexible hours.
• A paid test script is required before embarking on ongoing assignments.
