As part of our creative team, you will be instrumental in transforming well-crafted drafts into engaging, viewer-friendly videos that resonate with our audience. You will handle scripts that are nearly complete, adding the final polish and flair that makes our content truly shine. Our workflow involves intense bursts of creativity, followed by restful periods, perfect for those who excel in focused work environments and appreciate the balance between productivity and downtime.

We envision our ideal candidate as someone who instinctively knows what makes viewers stay and what makes them leave. You should possess the ability to simplify complex concepts without losing depth, and have a talent for infusing scripts with emotional depth that keeps our audience engaged. Your editing will enhance the authenticity and flow of our content, making it resonate even more with our viewers. We are looking for someone who can seamlessly maintain our unique voice while elevating the overall narrative quality of our scripts.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in editing YouTube scripts, particularly within the marketing education sector. Please share examples of channels you've contributed to.
• Expertise in preserving the original voice of the content while making it more accessible, ideally at a 6th-grade reading level.
• Ability to identify and eliminate repetitive or redundant content effectively.
• Aptitude for integrating trust-building and emotionally resonant elements into scripts to enhance viewer engagement.
• Comfortable with batch-style work, involving busy creative phases followed by breaks.
• Capability to manage approximately 16 scripts (3-5 pages each) every two months.
• Include references to similar channels you’ve worked with and your per-script rate in your application, as we value fair compensation for creative expertise.
