Researcher

👉 Job Description

Robert & Randall is looking for a creative, internet-savvy Researcher to help build the clip packages that power our reaction content. This role is all about discovering the right moments, assembling them into a strong narrative arc, and making sure each episode has enough momentum, variety, and personality to keep viewers engaged.

Each week, you’ll create one themed collection of clips designed around a single idea or topic. These packs should include roughly 15 to 25 short-form videos that naturally fit together and support a full episode. We’re not looking for clips that do all the work for us — the best selections leave space for commentary, jokes, and reactions, while still being entertaining on their own.

Our main sources are TikTok and Instagram Reels, where our audience already lives and where the content is generally a safer fit for copyright considerations. Your job is to spot what’s trending, identify creators and moments worth featuring, and choose clips that feel timely, relevant, and fun to watch in sequence.

The ideal candidate has strong internet instincts, a great sense of comedic timing, and the ability to tell when a group of clips works as a set rather than just as individual viral hits. We value taste, organization, and the ability to curate content that builds naturally from one clip to the next.

Bonus points if you’ve worked with reaction channels, podcast-style video content, or YouTube formats where copyright awareness matters. Familiarity with creators and shows in the orbit of channels like Italian Bach, ShxtsnGigs, or Cody Ko is also a plus.

This is a remote position focused entirely on research and curation. There’s no editing or on-camera work involved. You’ll be responsible for preparing one themed clip pack per episode, with a target output of 8 videos per month.

Each delivery should be organized in a shared document or spreadsheet and include:

  • 15 to 25 clips arranged in the preferred viewing order
  • A direct link and timestamp for every clip
  • The creator’s handle and platform for crediting purposes
  • Notes on any potential copyright or usage concerns, especially for music-heavy or TV-based content

If you love being online, have a strong sense of what’s happening across social platforms, and enjoy turning scattered internet moments into a cohesive comedic package, this role could be a great fit.
