About the Position

FD Studio is on the lookout for a dynamic and charismatic On-Camera SaaS Tutorial Creator. In this role, you will be responsible for creating compelling video guides that demystify SaaS products for our YouTube audience. Your expertise in using Loom to record your screen, facecam, and voice-over will be crucial in delivering clear and captivating content.

Weekly Goals

• Produce 3-4 top-notch Loom tutorials each week, focusing on clarity and engagement, with each video lasting between 5 to 10 minutes.
• Demonstrate a strong on-camera presence to connect with viewers effectively.
• Your productivity is measured by output, not time spent, ensuring flexibility in your work schedule.
• Provide a concise update on your progress every Friday through Trello.

Daily Responsibilities

Your primary responsibility will be video creation, encompassing the following tasks:

• Script & Storyboard: Turn provided YouTube examples into succinct scripts and storyboards, ensuring a powerful 30-second introduction that highlights the software's value.
• Loom Recording: Capture high-definition screen recordings with engaging facecam and clear voice-over using Loom. Building a connection with your audience is essential.
• Editing & Polishing: Execute initial edits with Loom and enhance with captions, call-outs, or jump-cuts for a professional finish. Familiarity with Camtasia or similar software for advanced editing is advantageous.

Thumbnail & Upload: Design two appealing thumbnail variants using tools like Canva or Photoshop, keeping your on-camera presence in mind.

Your Qualifications

Essential Skills:

• Outstanding on-camera presence with clear English communication.
• Proficiency in Loom for recording, facecam, voice-over, and initial edits.
• Skills in Canva or Photoshop for creating thumbnails.
• A reliable computer and stable internet connection (minimum 50/25 Mbps).
• Ability to manage your own time effectively, meet deadlines, and maintain organization.

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with other video editing software such as Camtasia for more polished results.
• Knowledge of SEO and keyword research.
• Proficiency in motion graphics using After Effects or similar tools.
• A sense of humor to engage audiences with a smile. 😊
