Hasan X is looking for a skilled editor who can turn complex, high-energy multicam shoots into sharp, entertaining business content that keeps viewers watching until the end.

We produce original format-driven videos for the business and finance space, working across international shoots and collaborating with a young, ambitious team that values creativity, speed, and strong storytelling.

This role is ideal for an editor who understands pacing, audience retention, and how to build tension, momentum, and payoff across long-form episodes. You’ll be working with extensive footage, multiple camera angles, and layered audio to create polished videos with a clear narrative arc and a strong opening.

What you’ll be doing

• Reviewing several hours of multicam footage and identifying the strongest story moments
• Choosing the best camera angle to capture reactions, tension, and key beats
• Structuring episodes so each round builds naturally into the next
• Crafting engaging intros with motion graphics, suspense, and a strong hook
• Blending dialogue, music, and sound design for a clean, dynamic final mix
• Adding graphics such as scoreboards, timers, labels, and branded visual elements
• Incorporating feedback through Frame.io and iterating efficiently across revisions

What we’re looking for

• At least 2 years of experience editing long-form YouTube content
• Strong multicam editing skills and a portfolio we can review
• Excellent English and availability that overlaps with UK working hours
• A strong sense of what makes a moment entertaining and worth keeping
• The ability to cut ruthlessly and remove anything that slows the video down
• Comfort taking direction and refining edits based on strategist feedback
• A dependable, consistent approach to deadlines and delivery

Bonus experience

• Experience editing fast-paced challenge or format-led content in the style of major YouTube entertainment channels
• Advanced After Effects skills

Compensation

We offer $1,100 per project, with additional milestone-based bonuses available. Strong performance, consistency, and long-term reliability are rewarded.
