Oreo, a Minecraft creator with over 40,000 subscribers, is looking for a talented video editor to help shape a new series of immersive survival videos. This is a remote opportunity for someone who enjoys turning raw gameplay into engaging, cinematic stories that feel natural, exciting, and memorable.

We’re aiming for videos that blend survival, exploration, building, and narrative in a way that keeps viewers invested from start to finish. The ideal editor will know how to identify the best moments in long recordings and transform them into a polished, emotionally engaging final cut.

What you’ll be doing:

• Editing long-form Minecraft survival content, including 100 Days and Hardcore-style videos.
• Condensing approximately 5 to 8 hours of footage into a compelling 60-minute episode.
• Building a strong narrative flow by selecting highlights, arranging scenes effectively, and keeping the story moving.
• Enhancing videos with thoughtful pacing, music, sound effects, transitions, and cinematic touches.
• Working with Replay Mod or Flashback Mod footage when available.
• Preparing rough cuts that can later be supported by post-recorded voiceover narration.
• Communicating clearly and collaborating smoothly throughout the editing process.

What we’re looking for:

• At least 1 year of experience editing Minecraft content.
• A strong understanding of long-form gaming content and how to keep it engaging.
• Experience with story-driven editing and cinematic gameplay presentation.
• A good eye for detail, timing, and emotional impact.
• Someone who can create satisfying building moments without making the edit feel overly flashy or distracting.

This project is intended to feel more immersive and grounded than a typical fast-cut gaming video. We want viewers to feel like they are journeying through the world alongside the creator, with a special focus on the atmosphere and payoff of each build, adventure, and milestone.

We’re also hoping to build a long-term working relationship with the right editor as the channel continues to grow and more episodes are produced.
