Checkpoint is searching for a talented Longform Video Editor to help bring our adventures with Steve and G.U.I.D.O. to life. Our content blends energetic cartoon-inspired action with classic Minecraft gameplay, creating fast-paced, story-driven videos that keep viewers entertained from start to finish.

We’re looking for an editor who can do more than assemble footage. The right person will understand pacing, storytelling, visual polish, and how to shape each episode into a cohesive, engaging experience. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working on scripted gaming content and can confidently handle longer-form edits with creativity and consistency.

What matters most to us is professionalism, clear communication, and reliability. We value editors who stay organized, keep us updated, and take pride in delivering work that meets a high standard every time. Strong editing skills are important, but so is the ability to collaborate smoothly and follow established processes.

In this role, you’ll be expected to work within our channel guidelines and documentation to maintain a consistent style across videos. You should be comfortable shaping footage, refining timing, enhancing scenes with sound and visual effects, and helping each episode feel dynamic and polished. Our videos typically run between 20 and 30 minutes, so experience with longform content is essential.

• Experience with cutting, assembling, and refining edits
• Comfort working with VFX, SFX, and music integration
