As a pivotal member of our creative team, you will be instrumental in shaping content that captivates and educates our audience.
In this role, you will work closely with our writing team and Creative Directors to craft high-quality outlines and scripts through meticulous research and engaging storytelling. Your responsibilities will include reviewing and enhancing scripts for clarity and originality, ensuring seamless communication between writers and leadership, and offering valuable feedback to both full-time and freelance contributors.
With a keen eye for detail, you will manage project timelines using state-of-the-art tools, integrating mathematical and scientific research to bolster script arguments. Your creativity will shine through in developing innovative sponsor segments and collaborating with editors and directors to weave media analysis into our content.
We are seeking candidates with exceptional research skills, a profound understanding of persuasive writing, and the ability to present complex ideas in an accessible and entertaining manner. A background in analyzing video game and film narratives, especially within the realm of Independent Horror Games and ARGs, will give you an edge. Familiarity with our unique presentation style and the broader YouTube ecosystem is highly valued.
To thrive in this position, you should have experience writing for digital video platforms, preferably YouTube, and possess a high level of media literacy. Your role will require you to conduct meta-narrative analyses, provide constructive feedback, and deftly manage projects and timelines in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit are essential, as is a portfolio showcasing your work in pop culture, fandom media, or science communication.
