About the Role

Are you passionate about crafting stunning travel content and have a knack for storytelling through video? We are seeking a talented video editor to collaborate on an exciting project: transforming raw 360-degree footage into a beautifully edited YouTube video titled “10 Things to Do in Monterey.” Using the Insta360 X5, you will employ your skills to reframe and keyframe clips in Insta360 Studio, creating a seamless and engaging 12–15 minute video complete with voiceover synchronization. Your work will help create a visually captivating narrative that will inspire viewers to explore. Success in this project could lead to ongoing opportunities in editing future travel videos.

Who You Are

We are looking for a seasoned video editor who excels at both the art of storytelling and the technical process of editing. You should be adept with 360-degree footage and familiar with Insta360 Studio's features. You will bring your expertise in reframing shots and integrating them into your editing software of choice to produce high-quality YouTube videos. Your attention to detail, especially in pacing, transitions, and visual clarity, is crucial. If you have prior experience in editing travel, lifestyle, or cinematic vlog content, you're exactly who we're looking for!

What You Bring

- Proficiency in Insta360 Studio (desktop version)

- Expertise in using Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve

- Skilled in reframing and keyframing 360 footage for smooth transitions

- Experience in producing polished YouTube videos that blend voiceover, music, and pacing effectively

- Capability to export videos at 4K resolution with H.264 encoding and a 100 Mbps bitrate

- Strong organizational skills for file management and labeling

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to meet a 7–10 day project turnaround

- Access to cloud storage solutions like Google Drive or Dropbox for file sharing
