Justmaiko is looking for talented remote video editors to join an expanding content team. We have several openings available and are especially interested in editors who can work quickly without sacrificing quality. This role is ideal for someone who understands how to keep viewers engaged through strong pacing, clean storytelling, and edits that feel dynamic and polished.

Most of the work will focus on vlog, challenge, streaming, and gaming content. For gaming edits, we need someone who can match a high standard of visual quality, with sharp pacing, effective use of graphics, and occasional VFX support when the video calls for it. Some projects may be simple and story-driven, while others may require creative effects, especially for content like Minecraft or other gameplay-heavy videos. For vlog and challenge content, the emphasis will be on comedy, timing, and maintaining momentum throughout the edit.

We are also looking for editors who can help improve hooks and make smart adjustments when a cut or section needs a stronger opening or better flow. A good sense of rhythm, audience retention, and storytelling is important for this position. If you are familiar with energetic YouTube editing styles and can deliver work that feels modern and engaging, this could be a strong fit.

The ideal candidate will communicate clearly, respond reliably, and consistently meet deadlines. You should be comfortable using our project management platform to track assignments and Discord for day-to-day communication. Because this is a fast-moving content environment, quick turnaround times are essential.

Applicants should have at least 1 year of editing experience and be fluent in English. We are looking for people who can adapt to different content styles, including challenges, gameplay, IRL, livestreams, motion graphics, shorts/reels, skits, and vlog-based edits.
