Your Role

We are on the lookout for a skilled editor who can lead the charge in crafting high-quality, long-form YouTube videos. Your role will involve making critical creative decisions, from pre-production planning to final edits, ensuring each video tells a compelling story with impeccable pacing, structure, and style. You'll also create engaging short-form content derived from these videos to captivate our audience across social platforms.

Responsibilities

• Take the lead on editing projects, bringing fresh ideas and a meticulous approach to each assignment.
• Craft immersive long-form videos, integrating intros, transitions, graphics, and sound design to enhance storytelling.
• Generate dynamic short-form clips for social media to expand our reach and engagement.
• Contribute to refining our post-production processes for greater efficiency and creativity.
• Organize and manage media files meticulously to ensure a seamless editing workflow.

What We're Looking For

• At least 2 years of experience in video editing or post-production, with a preference for YouTube, freelance, or agency environments.
• Expertise in DaVinci Resolve or Premiere Pro is essential.
• Experience with graphics, animations, and After Effects is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to edit story-driven content that captivates and inspires.
• Comfortable working on macOS and handling complex projects and large media files.
• Exceptional organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced settings.
• Strong understanding of editing fundamentals, including pacing, structure, and storytelling.
• Ability to adapt to direction, quickly implement feedback, and communicate effectively with the team.
• A genuine passion for YouTube, digital media, and the world of creator-led content.
• Bonus: Knowledge of camera operations or production.

Our Hiring Process

To be considered, please submit your portfolio showcasing your previous work. Selected candidates will be asked to complete a test edit using a provided raw video. Successful candidates will be offered the opportunity to join our dynamic team.
