Night Media is hiring a Creative Podcast Clips Editor to help turn standout comedy podcast moments into sharp, scroll-stopping content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and X.

In this role, you’ll do more than isolate a good quote or reaction. You’ll shape each clip into a complete short-form piece by tightening the pacing, reworking the flow, adding captions, and making sure every edit lands with the right comedic rhythm. The goal is to create content that feels native to each platform and compelling enough to stand on its own.

We’re looking for someone who follows the comedy podcast landscape closely and understands what drives attention, retention, and shares in today’s short-form space. A strong instinct for timing, structure, and audience engagement is essential, along with the ability to move quickly and consistently across a high volume of edits.

The ideal candidate has experience producing short-form videos that have delivered real results, whether that means audience growth, strong watch time, or standout performance on social media. You should also be comfortable tailoring edits for different formats and platform expectations while keeping the humor and personality intact.

What you’ll bring:

• Hands-on experience editing short-form video, ideally in comedy or podcast content
• A strong sense of pacing, timing, and what makes a clip funny and shareable
• Proficiency with tools such as Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut
• A portfolio that showcases your clip editing work, especially if it has performed well online
• The ability to deliver quickly while maintaining quality across multiple projects
• Comfort adapting content for different social platforms and audience behaviors
