PreMed Catalyst is on the hunt for an innovative and driven Content Director to steer our YouTube content strategy, from idea inception to detailed performance evaluation. This pivotal role is for a strategic thinker who can execute at all levels, ensuring our content not only engages but converts, supporting our mission to assist aspiring medical students in their journey.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you'll be the architect of our YouTube content, turning expert insights into compelling, high-impact videos that engage premed students and their families. You'll oversee the entire production cycle, from researching trending topics and writing scripts to managing video uploads and analyzing performance metrics. Your expertise in YouTube’s algorithm and your knack for creating content that resonates will be crucial as you collaborate closely with our Head of Content.

What You’ll Do:

• Research & Strategy: Continuously source and develop video ideas that align with emerging trends and audience needs, crafting strategies that blend proven formats with innovative concepts.
• Content Production: Write scripts with engaging narratives, oversee production timelines, and coordinate with a team of creative freelancers to ensure timely and high-quality output.
• Performance Optimization: Use data-driven insights to refine content strategies, ensuring every video contributes to our business goals by improving metrics like viewer retention and lead generation.
• Team Collaboration: Lead a team of contractors and eventually grow our content team to expand our reach across additional platforms such as TikTok and Instagram.

Who You Are:

• Experienced in managing YouTube channels with a proven track record of scaling engagement and subscriber growth.
• Skilled in YouTube-specific content creation, with a deep understanding of the platform’s dynamics.
• Familiar with the premed/medical school landscape, with a genuine interest in educational content.
• A strong communicator, capable of capturing and conveying the brand's voice in a unique and compelling way.
