Are you a creative and strategic YouTube enthusiast ready to take the reins of an emerging podcast's channel? Purpose Made Podcast is seeking a dynamic Channel Manager to propel our YouTube presence forward. Collaborating closely with our founder and editor, you'll transform long-form podcast episodes into visually compelling video content, including full-length episodes, Shorts, and engaging highlight reels.
With our current subscriber base at 16.9K, your mission will be to expand our reach by managing the video publishing process, crafting effective growth strategies, and optimizing channel performance. If you're passionate about storytelling and eager to help us share our podcast conversations with a wider audience, we'd love to have you on board.
This is a remote opportunity perfect for someone with 1 to 3 years of experience in YouTube management. Your expertise in digital storytelling, content optimization, and community building will be pivotal to our success.
Who We're Looking For:
Our ideal candidate is:
- Experienced in steering a YouTube channel from content upload to optimization.
- Skilled at editing and repurposing long-form podcasts into bite-sized, engaging clips.
- Proficient in YouTube SEO, utilizing titles, tags, thumbnails, and descriptions to attract viewers.
- In tune with current YouTube trends, analytics, and effective growth tactics.
- Passionate about creativity, storytelling, and content innovation.
- Proactive and reliable, eager to grow alongside a burgeoning brand.
- Possessing a creative flair for designing thumbnails, motion graphics, or exploring automation tools like N8N or Make is a plus.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- 1–3 years managing or expanding YouTube channels, especially for podcasts or creators, is an advantage.
- Demonstrated success in boosting audience engagement and subscriber numbers.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in YouTube Studio is essential.
- Experience with video editing software like CapCut or Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Graphic design skills using Canva or Photoshop for creating visual content.
- Familiarity with team collaboration tools like Frame.io.
- Competency in using analytics dashboards to assess performance metrics.
Additional Expertise (Nice to Have):
- Experience with DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro.
- Understanding of podcast-to-video production workflows.
- Knowledge of tools such as TubeBuddy, VidIQ, or Hootsuite.
