Linus Tech Tips and its sister channels are seeking a Channel Manager to join our innovative team and help craft top-tier content that reaches an audience of millions. With our channels collectively attracting over 16 million subscribers, your role will be pivotal in shaping and executing strategies that propel our digital presence.

As a Channel Manager, you will be at the forefront of our content strategy, overseeing the performance and growth of multiple YouTube channels. You will work hand-in-hand with a team of creative professionals—including editors, writers, and presenters—to produce captivating video content that aligns with our brand and audience expectations. Your analytical skills will be key to optimizing our content's reach and engagement.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

• Designing and managing the content publication schedule to ensure a steady stream of engaging videos.
• Collaborating with the creative team to refine scripts, video drafts, and on-screen presentations, ensuring high production quality and viewer engagement.
• Enhancing video discoverability through effective use of metadata, titles, thumbnails, and descriptions.
• Interpreting audience engagement data to provide actionable insights that boost subscriber numbers and viewer retention.
• Keeping abreast of the latest YouTube trends and algorithm changes to maintain our competitive edge.
• Ensuring all content is consistent with brand standards and strategic objectives.
• Leading and developing a team of writers, fostering their growth and managing their workload effectively.

What We’re Looking For:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in managing YouTube channels and a proven record in driving channel growth.
• At least 2 years of experience in leading creative teams.
• A deep passion for consumer technology and gaming.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong expertise in YouTube analytics, SEO, and audience growth strategies.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of delivering clear and constructive feedback.
• Experience working collaboratively with creative teams, including editors and on-camera talent.
• A meticulous eye for detail and a commitment to enhancing content quality.

Additional Skills That Would Be Beneficial:

• Basic skills in video editing and thumbnail design.
• Experience in content creation or ideation, particularly within tech, entertainment, or educational fields.

Compensation:

We offer a competitive salary range between CAD $75,000 and $95,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. Our compensation package may also include discretionary bonuses and incentives, reflecting our appreciation of your contributions to our success.
