Your Role

As a scriptwriter, your mission is to transform extensive raw footage into engaging and coherent narratives. You'll review the provided materials to identify pivotal moments that complete a story. Additionally, you'll conduct research to source supplementary clips where needed, ensuring that each compilation is comprehensive.

Your scripts will need to be time-coded, logically sequenced, and enriched with concise commentary that clarifies legal contexts, officer decisions, and the actions of involved individuals. It's crucial that the tone remains factual and balanced, avoiding sensationalism to maintain the integrity of our content.

Requirements

We are looking for individuals with proven experience in writing YouTube scripts, especially those familiar with body-cam footage, true crime, or law enforcement content. A solid understanding of U.S. law enforcement practices and citizens' rights is essential to ensure accuracy and fairness in our narratives.

Excellent storytelling and summarization skills are a must, as you'll need to distill complex events into clear, understandable content. Additionally, a reliable turnaround for long-form scripts (ranging from 25 to 60 minutes) is expected.

Compensation & Schedule

Compensation ranges from USD $80 to $100 per script, depending on complexity and quality. This is a remote, freelance position with an ongoing contract, requiring several scripts per month.
